On Friday 25 November, join Canberra Centre as we stand in partnership with The Property Council of Australia's Champion of Change to raise awareness of domestic violence in Australia.
The Property Council of Australia’s Champions of Change Coalition is supporting the National Coalition’s 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. The 16 Days of Activism is an initiative from the UN aiming to end violence against women and girls by raising awareness and positive action.
This campaign aims to prevent and eliminate violence against women and girls around the world, calling for global action to increase awareness, promote advocacy and create opportunities for discussion on challenges and solutions.
If you or someone you know is experiencing, or at risk of experiencing domestic, family or sexual violence, call 1800RESPECT on 1800 737 732 or visit www.1800RESPECT.org.au. In an emergency, call 000.
