Return for Charity Bins at Canberra Centre

We’re excited to announce the launch of our Return for Charity Bins, now available at two convenient locations within Canberra Centre. In partnership with the ACT Container Deposit Scheme, we are making it easier than ever for you to give back to the community while doing your part to reduce waste.

 

Where to Find the Bins

• Lower Ground Food Court – Near the escalators
• Outside of Bakers Delight.

Simply bring your eligible drink containers, such as bottles and cans, and drop them into the Return for Charity Bins. With every container you return, you’ll not only be helping to reduce litter and recycle, but you’ll also be donating 10 cents directly to a local charity.

 

How It Works:

1. Take your eligible drink containers (bottles and cans).
2. Drop them into the Return for Charity bins located in the Food Court and Coles Mall.
3. The 10c refund will be counted and donated to charity on your behalf.
4. Feel good knowing you’ve contributed to a great cause!

 

Partnering with Canberra Hospitals Foundation

We're proud to announce our partnership with Canberra Hospitals Foundation, a registered charity raising funds for specialised equipment, important research and therapeutic programs for patients and their families. Together with the ACT Government and ACT Health, they transform the community's generosity into high-quality healthcare. The Canberra Hospitals Foundation runs dedicated fundraising programs that are aimed at facilitating the promotion of health through focused initiatives, with all proceeds directed toward priority areas in need of support. 

 

Canberra Hospitals Foundation supports patients in the ACT and surrounding region who attend any public hospital or health centre across Canberra. By using the Return for Charity bins, your 10-cent refund will be donated to help provide caring, world-class healthcare services for patients, their families, and carers in Canberra.
