Mother's Day Gifting Workshops - Woven Earrings 

Are you looking for a unique and creative fashion accessory for yourself or as a Mother’s Day gift? Create a special fashion accessory just for her at the Woven Earring Mother's Day Gifting Workshop. Presented by Craft + Design Canberra, join talented Wiradjuri artist, Jessika Spencer at Canberra Centre and enjoy a hands on creative experience in a fun and relaxed setting. In this workshop Jessika will guide you through cultural weaving techniques both traditional and contemporary, using traditional and modern fibres to make a one of a kind pair of woven earrings. All materials are provided. This workshop is perfect to attend by yourself, with friends or bring along your Mother or Mother figure in your life, for an extra special crafting session.

Mother's Day Gifting Workshops - Celtic Heart Necklace 

Mother's and Kids will love this Celtic Heart Necklace workshop with textile artist Michelle England presented by Craft + Design Canberra. Join artist Michele England at Canberra Centre for this family friendly hands-on textiles workshops. Sit back, get creative and connect with Mum (or make as a surprise for Mum) as you create a Celtic knotted heart necklace, using twisted fabric rope and contrasting thread finishes. The Celtic heart knot design resembles two interlocked hearts, and is a symbol of eternal love, friendship and spiritual connection, the perfect gift for Mother's Day. All materials are provided. Children must be accompanied by an adult (ages 7+).
