This August, Canberra Centre is bringing science to life with a series of interactive and inspiring experiences for all ages. Across two weekends, Science in the Centres will transform Centre Court into a hub of discovery, curiosity and hands-on learning.

Here’s what you can look forward to:
Sunday 10 August – Robogals (11am–2pm)
Spark your imagination with robotics and engineering! The team from Robogals will be running fun, hands-on activities to introduce children to STEM in an engaging and empowering way. This is a must-visit stall for curious young minds, especially girls interested in exploring science and tech.
Saturday 16 August – SEAACT & Native Habitat Solutions
Get curious about Canberra’s natural world!
SEAACT (Science Educators Association of the ACT) will be on hand with science demonstrations and activities perfect for kids and families.
Native Habitat Solutions will share insights into local ecosystems and how we can all help protect the environment around us.
Sunday 17 August – Canberra Reptile Zoo
Meet some of Canberra’s coolest creatures! The Canberra Reptile Zoo is bringing a selection of fascinating reptiles right into the heart of the Centre. From slithering snakes to scaly lizards, it’s a rare opportunity to get up close and personal with native wildlife — safely, of course.
