Dining On Bunda Street

Bunda Street is entering an exciting new chapter, with a wave of new openings, relocations and fresh dining concepts. 

New additional include 7 Cutz Steakhouse, a bold new steakhouse focused on expertly prepared cuts and refined modern dining, while local favourite Kinn Thai has relocated to a larger new space next to INKA. 

Hunter & Barrel has also opened at Scott's Crossing opposite CBD Dumpling House, bringing its signature fire-drive cooking style to the city, while 38 Katsu is now serving premium Japanese-style katsu next to Betty's Burgers. 

Lastly, new concepts Curiosa Wine Bar, an intimate Italian-inspired wine bar centred around share plates and curated wines, and Stacks Sandwich Co., offering elevated sandwiches and casual grab-and-go options, round out the evolving mix of experiences across the precinct. 

Coming Soon - 

The former Kinn Thai site has been split into two offerings. The first will soon be home to Bocca by Frankie B's, a family-style Italian concept centred around generous, share-friendly meals served in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Joining the space will be Yo-Bar, known for its vibrant frozen yoghurt offering and customisable desserts, adding a fun and casual sweet treat destination to the precinct. 

Adding to the transformation, Oh My Papa will introduce a multi-level venue spanning two floors, complete with a rooftop bar. Set to deliver a high-energy mix of drinks, dining and late-night atmosphere, the new venue will bring an exciting day-to-night offering to Bunda Street.

These changes reflect Canberra Centre’s ongoing investment in its dining precinct, bringing together premium new venues and refreshed favourites to deliver a more diverse and elevated food experience in the heart of the city.

7 Cutz Steakhouse

7 Cutz Steakhouse offers a vibrant selection of steaks and ribs in a premium dining atmosphere. 

Join them for perfectly seasoned steak, cooked over a custom-made chargrill and finished with their signature BBQ basting.

38 Katsu

38 Katsu, a local favourtie from Verity lane Market, has opened its first standalone store, serving premium Japanese-style katsu in a casual, modern setting. 

Known for its crispy, flavour-packed cutlets and quality ingredients, 38 Katsu brings a fresh new grab-and-go dining option to Bunda Street.
