Ticketless Parking Update - Coles/Fitness First Basement Car Park:

Canberra Centre continues to rollout the new ticketless car parking system upgrade to enhance customers’ journeys by providing a more streamlined and convenient parking experience.
With Stage 1 in the Coles/Fitness First basement car park now complete, Stage 2 of the upgrade has commenced in the Big W car park (entry via Scotts Crossing off Cooyong Street). These works will occur in two phases:
Stage 2A: Installation of the ticketless car parking machines and new digital screens at the Big W car park entry and exit points
Stage 2B: Installation of the parking guidance system, making it even easier for customers to find a parking space.
Stage 2A works are now in progress, with the ticketless parking machines anticipated to be activated from Monday 3rd June 2024, while Stage 2B is expected to commence in the new financial year.  While it is too early to confirm exact timings of subsequent stages, the complete system upgrade is expected to be fully operational across all Canberra Centre car parks within the next 12 months.
Importantly, the new ticketless car parking system will recognise if customers choose to park on the Big W rooftop car park, ensuring they still receive the discounted all-day rooftop car parking rate of $15 when applicable.
The new ticketless parking machines will accept debit and credit card payments.
A cash pay station was also recently installed near the Basement 1 travelator and a new cash pay station will be installed on the Level Two Lobby of the moving walkway stack located next to Petrie Street.
Further information is available from the Car Park Management Office located on Level 1 Ainslie car park accessed via the entrance to the car park at The Coffee Club
