Floriade will return to Canberra’s Commonwealth Park for its 39th year from Saturday, 12 September to Sunday, 11 October, with this year’s theme, ‘Feast of Flowers’.
Celebrating the joyful meeting of nature, food and community, Feast of Flowers is inspired by seasonal harvests and the rituals of gathering, cooking and sharing meals. Visitors are invited to experience spring through all the senses, with colourful blooms and delicious food.
This year at Canberra Centre, we’re inviting you to come for the flowers and stay for more.
Whether you’re visiting with family, catching up with friends or making a day of it for yourself, Canberra Centre is the perfect place to park, play, dine and explore before or after your Floriade adventure.
Getting to Floriade
Make Canberra Centre your starting point when visiting Floriade. Park with ease, then head to the festival by bus or on foot. With convenient parking and everything you need close by, it's an easy place to begin your adventure.
Floriade Shuttle Bus
The Floriade shuttle bus stop is located at Ainslie Place, making it easy to leave your car at Canberra Centre and continue your journey to Commonwealth Park. Take the hassle out of your journey and catch the complimentary Floriade shuttle bus.
The free Floriade shuttle bus will run every 20 minutes on weekdays and every 10 minutes on weekends and public holidays. For more information on the shuttle bus and transport, visit here.
Please note that changes to traffic, access and parking will be implemented to support these projects. Visitors are encourages to plan ahead and consider traffic, transport and parking options.
Floriade Walking Trail
Prefer to explore on foot? Take the walking route from Canberra Centre through the heart of the CBD towards Commonwealth Park.
It's an easy way to take in more of Canberra, with views of City Walk, the lake and surrounding streets adding to the Floriade experience as you make your way through a city in full bloom.
