Discover Inari

The second restaurant open in Tiger Lane is Inari, an authentic Japanese restaurant that will pay homage to Japanese 1960s retrofuturism.

Taking its namesake from the Japanese god of rice, Inari is the signature restaurant of Tiger Lane’s own ‘Sushi Shaman’, Shaun Presland. The menu deftly explores traditional Japanese dishes fused with modern Australian flavour, centred around the elite of locally sourced seafood.

Leave Canberra behind as you step into a grown-up wonderland of fun, frivolity and fusion inspired by Japan’s evolution from tradition to modernism.

Backdropped to an experiential space, Inari encourages you to leave restraint at the door and pull down your mask for a dining experience interlaced with entertainment and wonder.

EXECUTIVE CHEF SHAUN PRESLAND

Inari is the signature restaurant of Tiger Lane’s Executive Chef, Shaun Presland. Borrowing it’s namesake from the Japanese ‘God of Rice’, ‘Sushi Shaman’ Shaun Presland could not be better equipped for the task. Shaun is one of just a handful of gaiijin that have been enthusiastically welcomed into the world of Japanese cuisine and has had a resounding effect on the Japanese dining scene across Australia and beyond.

He’s amassed an incredible 18 chef hats since his first executive chef position, alongside 7 Japanese restaurants in 3 states (all still operating very successfully) since 2000.  He has also been responsible for the training and development of numerous chefs who, in turn have ventured out to do amazing things
themselves.
